Lightly hopped with goldings and fuggles. golden brown. a highly popular session beer. Named after the landlord and brewer at the Queen¹s Head Inn in the 1930¹s. when the pub was marked as a brewery on the Ordnance Survey maps. John Bewsher. a local wheelwright from Barton. leased the Inn from the Wordsworth brothers who managed it as part of their young nephew¹s estate. The signed and wax-sealed indenture in the bar was the final rental between Bewsher. William Wordsworth and his brother Chris.
